Definitely. Sometimes, I'd say he goes somewhat "overboard"... but that's just TV.

People take this stuff way too personally. It's two guys calling it like they see it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm glad that teams actually have to play the games...

Mark Mays used to pick Tennessee on a regular basis. He seemed to turn on Tennessee when Fulmer was fired. Apparently, May considered Fulmer's dismissal to be the crime of the century.

Mark May is a fan of winners,and has defended Tennessee in the past..we are not winners, and this is the present~~

Everyone thinks ESPN/SI/Sporting News/ Jesus Himself etc. hate their program if they say something bad about them. ESPN has been a HUGE part of our recruiting success by constantly plastering the Power T all over every broadcast they transmit, good or bad. Mark May does seem to have something personal against either Kiffin or UT though. When we start winning he and every other anchor there will be all over our nuts and calling Kiffin and staff geniuses.....its how the media works....just an industry full of followers.

So. Say, act, or do anything you want. Who cares ? As long as your program MIGHT POSSIBLY win in the FUTURE, that's ok. Are hypothetical championships worth that much ? The media is following what ? And I'm sure Mark May won't sleep until he brings down the Vol football program.

I agree that's part of it. I also think he doesn't agree with the approach Kiffin has used. I do, but Mark May is not Kiffin's only critic. It is, what it is.

I admit I've cringed at some of May's comments but sometimes the truth hurts. Until Kiffin turns the ship we will continue to hear it whether we like it or not. :ermm:
