I dont see how it could be done and be a sitting coach. I would imagine Peterson would want to wait until after the season to interview for other jobs. If its truly done and announced this weekend I feel like it almost has to be someone not currently coaching. With Kelly probably ending up at UF or UCLA, all signs point to you know who.

Extension means nothing when the buyout terms are the same. It's the equivalent of the AF showing fans he tried, the agent using it as leverage, and the coach using it as an insurance policy if he doesn't walk. Not saying Petersen is leaving but the extension means nothing.
