Who's next to commit?

Bussey to the hill isn't happening.

Preston Williams isn't going anywhere.

Ugo, Who has been surrounded by Tennessee commits this week is having mixed emotions, He and Philips may separate as not playing at the same school

Kirkland Jr, Who I firmly believe has already committed to our coaches is announcing Monday to ensure his spot for an EE

Walker, As I've read from some respected posters on here and VQ state we are in a real good position.

I think we lose Jackson.

Thanks! Sounds like you know your stuff.:hi:

Why would UT coaches want someone that weighs roughly 240 lbs to play OL? Are they going to "beef him up" to play Center? This makes zero sense. I'd say it's just a rumor.......

He won't play OL anywhere, he is a DE.....

Not according to Hubbs, Lewis and just about everybody else I've heard who covers recruiting discuss this. Kid is 6'6" and has the frame to easily put on the necessary weight. Just posting what I've heard and it seems to make sense. Why else would a kid who's been committed forever right in UTs backyard be looking around? Seems plausible to me. Guess we'll see soon enough.

Have you heard something that could even possibly lead you to believing that we cold flip Francois from Florida St. cause if you have and it's not just something you woke up feeling one day please do tell.

No it was mentioned he made contact with our Coach's and is also talking to McElwain at Florida. Sounds like he is rethinking his FSU commitment. It's not hard to find it's been oon Volnation and up on recruiting sites that he made contact to the UT Coach's as well as Florida's.

I would say that if Jackson goes to LSU or elsewhere to play defensive end, then he may know something about Kyle Phillips.

Dylan Jackson will not play OL anywhere. He can't gain a healthy 60 lbs. No one can. I don't care what Hubbs has heard. That's just absurd.

Based on reports from TOS, my understanding was that the 240 lb. recorded weight was from early camps, and Jackson was already 260 - 270 lbs. Lots of room to grow on that frame.

Jordan Williams came to UT as a 6'4" 240lb LB....leaving as a 6'4" 295lb DT. Dylan is 6'6".... I think the math works out ok.

Also, I'll disagree with you about not caring what Hubbs says.

This is so much absurdity. #1 there are plenty of players that have gained that much healthy weight. It is not unheard of. #2 is that none of that matters because Jackson is not 240 pounds. Reports and pictures of him standing next to Jack Jones indicate that he is north of 250 and probably closer to 260. Now none of that means he will not play DE. He has great size to be a 3-down DE. But the idea that he will never play OT because he does not have the size is not even close to true. He will end up being a great 3-down 275 pound DE before he done in college or a great 290 pound OT. Both are completely legit options.

I thought Kirkland just tweeted that he was announcing at the Army All America game in January.

Now that Kirkland has committed, we need Phillips and Amadi to follow suit. That would make for a fantastic defensive class. Then we finish with a couple of offensive commits. This class is shaping up to be another great one.

I'm out of state, thus don't so easily keep up with certain nuances within the program. Didn't Cherry flip to another school...and what's the most recent story on Richmond flipping from Ole Miss to UT? From what I've read, it seems that neither of those two are coming to Knoxville. ???????

I think the only way Richmond flipped is if Freeze took a better job.

Would rather have Martin and Walker.
