I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised to see Tom Izzo and Michigan State getting the respect they so richly deserve.

I want to see us play Michigan State. In fact, I want to see the football team play the Spartans, too. One of my good friends is an MSU alumna, and she and I would have a good time watching the games together. Or at least an interesting time.

Plus, of course, MSU basketball has been one of the premier programs under Izzo. Playing them could do nothing but help us.

It's probably not too far fetched. Izzo has a similar mentality to coach Pearl with his nonconference scheduling. The Spartans always like to test themselves early with quality opponents. It'd be a great series to add to our schedule.

Big win for Sparty tonight over Wisconsin.

Drew Neitzel went off tonite to the tune of 28 points. He also drained 6 threes last nite in the big win. However, there lack of a dominant big will not let them get past the second or third round unfortunately.(Unless they get a friendly bracket)

Teams I would like to see the Vols play in the near future:

1. UCLA
2. Arizona
3. Michigan State
4. Oregon
5. Texas Tech
6. Louisville (chance to pay them back for the 4 straight losses they recently gave us)
7. VMI (chance to see the Vols put about 160 on the board)
