[/QUOTE]I’ve edited this post a couple of times, but also have other accounts of this issue floating around the site. I’ve gotten more clarity on the issue, and added the observation that someone inside did indeed share information with Plowman. After that, the matter regarding Mims was answered in a way that revealed many more similar issues. I’m getting this info third hand, and it involves reputations, and individual accounts about an ongoing investigation. I’m going to refrain from further commentary until the dust settles. I was (at the least) partially incomplete in my first account regarding the source of the first leak. There are too many moving parts to follow this one. As I’ve heard more, The sums of money, and sloppiness of the whole thing make me want to take a step back. I’ll try to provide useful info on the search for coaches and AD, but I’m going to quit being a private detective on the investigation. In summary, I’ll say that the key takeaway is that we were so egregious there will be no way for the ncaa to go easy on us.
The Chancellor said in the presser it was someone outside the program. I think it was Kirby Smart after Mims chose Georgia and spilled the beans on what's going on at UT.
What else would they say about UT legend. If it was any other AD I believe they would have been buried also.True, but there is a reason to try to stop the wrongdoing at the HC. That is why there was so much gushing over Fulmer at the press conference by Plowman and Boyd as they were emphatic that the AD was not involved at all with any of the identified infractions.
My bold with zero evidence guess is (I love this - it should be a thread unto itself.)My bold with zero evidence guess is that the information was found by an inside person doing their job that had enough integrity to not turn a blind eye and forwarded it to the appropriate superior or compliance department and it went from there. I am wondering how closely the two groups that were mentioned worked together. Could there have been two different triggers, one recruiting related and one from daily operations? Did one area trigger the investigation and the other get caught during the following investigation? I hope we find out in the end. The reference at the presser to the efforts or methods (wording used?) to keep the violations hidden has me perplexed.
As I recall, Plowman said in presser that the call came in November 13, and the investigation began November 19. When did the quarterbacks other than JG start playing, and when was he totally benched? It could very well could be JG or his father.
Why else would a coach keep playing someone as terrible as JG? JG probably had the dirt on Pruitt and staff. Or his father did. We all saw how his father ran his mouth on Twitter.
Think about it... When HB was officially named the starter.. Not even 2 or 3 games later the news leaks out that there's an investigation (which probably was occurring a couple of weeks prior to the leak)
Idiotic post of the year. That pouting was 5 years ago. If you bothered to watch the late games this year, you would have him seen him on the sidelines helping Bailey and Shrout. No way it was JG. He was too close to his teammates to watch them take the fall.
I don't know who it was, but it wasn't JG. I'd bet on Brumalough.

I don't doubt he cares for his teammates. With that being said, I don't buy that he was helping either. To me it looked as if he was playing to the camera... he knew who the camera would be on at certain times and there he was all smiles and putting it on. Not a bad strategy if you know you're hitting the portal. Just my two cents on watching the same game.
So he knew when the camera was on him?
You sho do talk nasty. LolNobody will ever convince me that (*expletive deleted*) Kirby (*expletive deleted*) Smart wasn't the snitch. Think about it: all this started with Mims, there's bad blood between Pruitt and Smart, Tennessee has been after the NCAA for a while trying to get them to investigate GA. I certainly wouldn't put it past that (*expletive deleted*) weaselly little rat-faced (*expletive deleted*) bowl cut wearing (*expletive deleted*) (*expletive deleted*).
(*expletive deleted*) the University of (*expletive deleted*) Georgia, everyone involved with that (*expletive deleted*) program, each and every one of their (*expletive deleted*) moronic fans, (*expletive deleted*) Herschel Walker, (*expletive deleted*) Vince Dooley, (*expletive deleted*) the hobnail boot announcer, (*expletive deleted*) Sanford stadium, and (*expletive deleted*) the (*expletive deleted*) stupid (*expletive deleted*) hedges.
