Who was it for you?

How many actually remember and used 8 tracks? Or, reel to reel before that?

My first car, 1973 Pontiac Firebird had an AM/FM radio in it that I replace with a "top of the line" 8 track player, it even had fast forward.

The last Album I remember buying was The Wall. I still have it and a collection of about 75 others.

I had Jethro Tull and the best of Bread on 8 track. All our home movies were on 8mm reels.:eek:lol::eek:lol:

Had to have the 8 track for traveling' music. 8mm was classic. I think the last 8 track I got was a Lynyrd Skynyrd or James Taylor/not sure which one. I hung onto them long after 8 tracks went away. Then, one day just dumped them. Same with all my LP's. Hauled them around forever. Finally, sold them in Dallas to a collector and bought a Bass boat.

How many octaves does that bass boat play.

I'm not old enough to have had an 8 track player, but I remember them. My dad had a nice one in a Dodge Duster he had waaay back in the day.
