Who was it for you?

Tupac and Biggie was absolutely crushing to me.......I stopped listening to rap after that...it just got too realz

The entertainer that was hardest for me to see go was not from the music industry, it was Chris Farley. Yeah I liked Cobain, 2pac, Biggie, etc., but none of them were among my absolute favorites when they went (in hindsight, I'm an enormous Biggie fan).

Check the pics from when he died.

John Belushi. I was young when he passed, but already a fan. "Animal House", "The Blues Brothers", "Neighbors". Hysterical.

Machinehead was my favorite off Sixteen Stone but I had graduated to CDs by 1995. (as had most humans)

The last new cassette I purchased was Tom Petty-Full Moon Fever.

You know, I would say that this would be a great idea for a thread, but I don't know how many of us here are actually old enough to have bought cassettes. BTW, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are one of the most underappreciated bands in history.

How many actually remember and used 8 tracks? Or, reel to reel before that?
