Look at Saturdays games.

With out Tebow UF losses by 14 points.

With out Bradford, OU only wins by 21 points.

The great unknown is whether the Big 12 offenses are really just insanely good, or the Big 12 defenses so awful they make it seem that way.

I don't know the answer.

I think that Oklahoma would put up points regardless of who they played, but outside of them and maybe Texas, it might just be the lack of defense.

Tebow means more to his team than any other player, w/out him they lose to Bama. He "was" Florida's offense and beat a good Bama team, he should win it easily.

Yall do understand the Heisman is best this year not "Most valuable". Thats why he won it last year with a 4 loss team. That is why he shouldnt win this year, he is not the best player this year. He may mean the most to his team but that is not part of the criteria.

Sammy Bradford, even in the loss to Texas he had 5 TD passes. Screw Tebow, I cant fathom any UT fan pulling for Tebow or the gators. I hope they lose every stinking game they play.

Voted for Tebow. I'm not a fan of his or his team but I believe he's playing against better defenses than the guys in the Big 12. They wouldn't give it to a Southern two years in a row (Weurfel and Manning) so I doubt they'd let a Southern win it two years in a row.
The other two are OK I guess.

I had been leaning towards Bradford the last couple of weeks, but I'm going with Tebow now.

This is simple... Sam Bradford *Passing Stats* Attempts: 442 - Completed: 302 -- Yards Passing: 4464 -- TD:48 -- Int.:6
Rushing Attempts:40 -- Rushing Yards: 65 -- Rushing TD: 5

Tim Tebow *Passing Stats* Attempts: 268 - Completed: 174 -- Yards Passing: 2515 -- TD:28 -- Int.:2
Rushing Attempts:154 -- Rushing Yards: 564 -- Rushing TD: 12

For me it's a clear choice... Bradford has basically doubled the amount of passing attempts that Tebow has... If Tebow's passing attempts was what Bradford's are he would have even more passing yards and tds that Bradford does. Tebow's ability to rush and score is also another huge factor in my decision. His overall athletic ability is far more superior. He means more to his team than Bradford means to his.

Let me bust your logic for a second.

Your point pretty much seems to be that Tebow has a higher average yards per attempt and higher attempts per TD. You are incorrect.

Completion Percentage
Bradford - 68.3%
Tebow - 64.9%

Yards Per Attempt
Bradford - 10.1
Tebow - 9.4

Attempts per TD
Bradford - 9.21
Tebow - 9.57

QB Rating
Bradford - 186.29
Tebow - 176.74

Rushing Attempts Per TD
Bradford - 8
Tebow - 12.8

While Tebow's stats are nothing to laugh at, in a vaccuum (which is how you based your comparison), Bradford is better in every single meaningful QB category.

In that vacuum, if Tebow had the same number of attempts as Bradford and Bradford rushed as many times as Tebow, Bradford would have 16 more completions, 302 more passing yards, 2 more passing TDs and 7 more rushing TDs.

Thank you. Great case. Tebow was not the best player this year period. McCoy also had better numbers and so did Harrell. All had great team years. You could also say very easily McCoy was more valuable to Tex than Tebow is to UF. He was their whole O. So he was not the best or most valuable payer this year. Our SEC bias is very evident if we say Tebow deserves the Heisman.
