I actually misquoted. (Not made stuff up) I meant, Arian had a better YPC, albeit SLIGHT. (by two-tenths of a yard)But Montario had more yards (more carries of course), more TD's, and a longer run.
What's interesting....You keep stating Hardesty got stuffed for no/negative yardage. Take a look at Arian's longest run. It was 3 yards. He finished the game with only 2 (TWO) yards.
Hardesty wasn't the only one who got "stuffed" for negative/no yardage.
Don't make biased arguments. Include all the facts.
Foster had been involved in game changing fumbles in every Tennessee loss this season. He deserves to be to watch someone else start in front of him. That is what his play has earned him. If Hardesty plays well you stay with him. If not you give Foster a chance to redeem himself.
I wish they would throw to Foster and Creer more often too. Foster has looked good on several short passes that turned into long yardage. I am not sure about Creer's hands but his speed could be dangerous in that situation.
Remember when everyone kept hoping Jamal Lewis would have a spectacular year like his Freshmen season? He kept regressing while Travis Henry displayed good moments here and there. Who finally got the nod at starting RB and had the better career at UT? Hmmmm, very familiar.
Hardesty had a rather costly fumble against Florida. The Auburn fumble is still up for debate as to who was at fault.
I was referring to NIU. Hardesty was stuffed twice.
True but wasn't Hardesty's on a pass play? It also wasn't inside anybody's 5 yard line. It probably would not change the outcome of the game either.
On the auburn fumble I put it on both Foster and Crompton.
Foster is just more of a risk in my book.

Rather costly, are you crazy.First of all it wasn't Hardesty's fault.Crompton threw it behind the line and the Florida defenders swarmed Hardesty,he had know chance to get loose.Do you expect someone to hold on to the football after getting picked up and slammed to the ground?I didn't think so.
