Who is the owner of this forum. The domain name is privately registered - meaning that the identity of the ownership is not revealed.

freak runs it but I think Coach Fulmer owns it. It serves as part of his fan club site. :)

Whomever runs it has got money and/or technical ability.

I am a little bit familiar with the JelSoft forum software that this forum uses. It's taken them some time to figure out the orange and white schema for this web site.

Also, the image at the top with Fulmer, Bruce Pearl, and Pat Summitt was professionally designed.

The VolNation fan shop says that it's located in Jacksonville, Florida.

There are not the names of any owners listed there.

I was thinking that a corporate entity (like the Knoxville News-Sentinel) or the University of Tennessee might own this web site. Neither the News-Sentinel or UT however have any reason to conceal their identity.

The entity that owns this web site clearly has taken precautions to conceal it's identity. Apparently they have a reason to have their identity unknown.

If this web site is indeed owned by Coach Fulmer not only would it be a conflict of interest it would be alarming considering the concealment of the identity.

The VolNation store is part of the Football Fantics site. You can have your own shop using thier site in a partnership type way. Freak owns and runs the site. Well, him and Phillip :)

That's what I hate . . . At the Moderator meetings, Freak and Phillip argue over who gets the biggest piece of chicken.

Doesn't Doug Dickey live in Jacksonville? Freak wouldn't be a-kin to Dawg Dickie now would he?

Wow. I knew you were a little out there Volitics, but the tin foil hat isn't helping you, I PROMISE.

Have you considered that maybe the owner just enjoys some privacy? All you need to know is that he is the guy with "Admin" under his name (Vol_Freak) and that he, and all the MODS here work very hard to make this the best UT site on the 'net.

Great work guys. :)

Dickey threw the Gator Bowl between UT and Florida in his last game as coach of the Vols in 1968 or 1969, I bet that was about the time Al Gore invented the internet. That was also about the time the word freak came into common usage. Al Gore went to Vandy divinity school. I am sure there is a connection with this site and the loss to Vandy last year.

They are right, I am the one that owns and maintains the site. The reason for the privately held domain is for spam reasons. Domain registration email addresses are a hugh source of unsolicited email. As for the jelsoft (vbulletin) design, it's really not as difficult as you might think. The Fulmer, Pearl, and Pat header image was designed by me. Far from professional, but thanks for the compliment. Lastly, the fan shop is just an affiliate relationship. In actuality, you are viewing another webstte when you view the shop.
