even if he could get those shots off how do you account the other bullets found there. one was found in the winshield of a car. one in the dashboard of another car. one hit the curb of the street and a piece of concrete went up and hit a man in the face near the tripple overpass (first bullet fired by warren commision). those other two shots dont exist acording to the warren report.(Lexvol @ May 19 said:Skeptics have argued that expert marksmen could not duplicate Oswald's alleged feat in their first try during reenactments by the Warren Commission (1964) and CBS (1967). In those tests the marksmen were attempting to hit the target three times within 4.5 seconds; however, the use of this time span has been heavily disputed and modern analysis of a digitally enhanced Zapruder film has suggested the first and final shots may have come as much as 8.4 seconds apart. Moreover, many of CBS's 11 volunteer marksmen, who (unlike Oswald) had no prior experience with a Mannlicher-Carcano, were able to hit the test target three times in well under the time allotted.
Agreeing with the Warren Commission and saying Oswald was the shooter are two separate issues. One can dispute the how the Comision reached its decision and still concur with its conclusion.(vols kick balls @ May 20 said:even if he could get those shots off how do you account the other bullets found there. one was found in the winshield of a car. one in the dashboard of another car. one hit the curb of the street and a piece of concrete went up and hit a man in the face near the tripple overpass (first bullet fired by warren commision). those other two shots dont exist acording to the warren report.

i aggree with that. im still not sure if i believe it was a conspericy or not. but you have to admit that there are some wierd cercummstances about this.(hatvol96 @ May 20 said:Conspiracies are like martians. You can't convince someone who believes in them that they don't exist. It's impossible to prove a negative.

I will qualify that statement by saying I do not believe he thought it would be the catastrophe it turned out to be, but he was a pacifist president (or one who believed diplomacy and under the table dealings always worked.)
