I guess in my mind I still seen a kid.I didn't think that he was a kid. Didn't the story say that he's been a manager for 25 or 26 years? Still, very cool no matter how old the guy is and it's even better that the players are on board acknowledging his contribution.
Was it a one time thing or will he be a regular?
Dang, I’m proud to be a vol. That was a great thing they put together for himIf this doesn’t bring a tear to your eye... there’s nobody I’d rather have as our basketball coach than rick Barnes.

Downs are great people with deep compassion and a great example of how we should be at our core...but there will always be certain groups that will take advantage of that perceived "weakness".My cousin has downs. If she and her other downs friends ruled the world we would be free of wars. Love this story.
Very nice story and kind thing to do for him. Also very cool that you know him. It would have been cool for the team to ask him for autographs.I’m originally from Sweetwater and played Basketball there a few years back. I’d rather not mention how far back lol, but I can tell you one thing, no one loves Sweetwater more then Jayson. He is such a great guy and if you ever get the chance to meet him he will leave a great impression on you. I’m very thankful to know J-Bird and extremely grateful for whoever organized all of this for him. Well done, UT!
