Which SEC teams are in danger of losing 3 more games in 2017 than in 2016?

I think maybe some people have forgotten how that game looked, when pretty much everyone was healthy, and we had literally months to prepare.

Here's a refresher...

The lack of preparation, and the poor coaching in this game, did more to erode my faith that CBJ will ever have Tennessee competing for SEC championships, then the previous three seasons.
Hate to say it, but I agree.

It's not the losses, or even the scary-ass wins; it's the lack of dominance.

So you agree with his logic? Or...

The whining and guaranteeing doom with no allowance for success is very convincing. Pretty sure that's Scientology's pitch. :hi:

Nah, it just proves how weak Nebraska is.

Was Ohio the game we missed Malone wide open 3 times deep?

With App st and Ohio we should be able to play with only 9 or 10 on the field and still handle business.

Somebody should come up with a clever little saying similar to the "ifs and buts" saying but for "should". Against App st it felt like the twilight zone(that's an old TV show, not the vampire soap opera books and movies).

Edit: If should was wood, we'd all get laid.

My favorite is the one about ifs and fifths and getting drunk.

uhm...yeah.....okie dokie.

Iam4ut came in here and tried to pass along his over enthusiastic hype, not much in the way to justify.
But then the dam wonder twins of gloom, gang tackled him as soon as their someoneenjoyingthemselves radar went off. That's just annoying.

So Iam4, I don't really have any good reason to expect great results this year but **** it! We haven't lost a single game until we do. Bring that hype on brother and lets ride.
And if that ruffles any feathers at camp pissandmoan, that just makes the ride that much sweeter.

I don't respect your grading system. :hi:

Excellent attempt at redirection, but rather poor form in the execution. As you may recall, the conversation that you interjected yourself into, concerned IAF4UA's logical basis for his 2017 predictions alone, and not my own criteria for success in 2017.

Just curious how you count Vandy and USC as automatic wins instead of toss ups?

Well there are no automatic wins but these are probable wins. I'm guessing pre-season the Vols would be 7+ point favorites. Both games are in Neyland the Vols have a better roster than either USCe or Vandy and coming off bad losses to each one would expect a fired up Vols team for both.

Yeah, i guess im still confused as to how they can even be counted probable wins. UT was heavily favored going into both games this season, had a better roster and if winning the SECE wasnt enough motivation to be fired up for those games, we hace issues. Hopefully being at home gives us an advantage.

regardless of what happened in 16, i still expect to be able to beat KY, Vandy and USCe in 17. if we don't, then.....well....that would be bad.

i think we'll lose at least 4 games this season, maybe 5.

L's...LSU, GA, Bama toss ups(prolly lose at least one)...FL and GT. we should win the rest.

Once again, your adjectives and condescension are needless. You aren't coming from any superior base of knowledge. You just pretend.

Predictions are OPINIONS. Pretending YOURS is FACT is bolsch.

IMO. :)

I think, realistically we are all right about the same predictions except the eternally optimist not that there is anything wrong with that.

I think we lose both Alabama and LSU
Lose one or two of these: UGA, UF and GT
and lose one of: USC / Vandy and Kentucky.

that puts us at 8-4 / 7-5.

I would like to get back to the thinking that we beat USC / Vandy and UK every time we play them but the trend under CBJ we are 50/50 on them other than Kentucky. I don't mean 50/50 in terms of record, but chances of winning.

I'm in that's for sure.

We have so much going for us. JG was the #1 duel threat QB from last year's class and we were able to red shirt him( I hope it pays off).

We got the #1 LB from Ga and Fl, that's a good thing.

We signed the #1 prospect in the world. Did it help he grew up in Tn? Maybe.

We signed 3 rated RBs, that's unheard of.

I like our chances.

Release the Beast!

truth be known, i wouldn't be surprised if we did beat FL or LSU, and GT and lost to USCe and/or vandy/KY etc...either way,i agree, 7-5/8-4 is where i see it ending up.

given what we've seen thus far, i don't take any of them for granted really. but i do expect to be better than those teams. hence, the ability to expect a w.

Its funny, the only recruiting service that had Smith number 1 is the place that we claim hates us more than any other meiocre sports program.

Unheard of to sign 3 RBs?

Maybe you should actually read the thread prior to posting next time, just a thought.

Chandler, Coleman and Jordan.

Ah, most recruiting sites have Coleman as an Athlete. Their are several times in that category with those RB.

I will say as your case that will have any influence this coming season. If a 2 star freshman running back sees any meaningful time we are in really really bad shape.

My bad. I thought they were a 4,3 and 3 stars.

I still like our chances.
