Which game left in the schedule do you dread the most?

each SEC game left on the schedule presents a challenge for us in some way or another.

GA--matt stafford is getting better, but they still haven't found the "go to" WR yet. their running game is quietly gaining confidence and against our defense, it will be interesting to see how they attack it. i expect to see them line up and run it right at us and do so until we can prove we can stop it.

SC...same thing, nothing on the outside that will scare most opponents, but corey boyd is a good RB and could cause our front seven problems. throw in the play calling of SOS, and who knows. i know this, he'll exploit every weakness our D has. and their D may be the best D we face all year...though losing Brinkley hurst them in a lot of ways.

Bama...good WR's, confident QB and better than expected RB's. Bama will be able to score points on us. and it's at Bama. that game will be nuts.

ARK...already been said, but Jones and McFadden will present a big challenge for our defense. i'm not scared of Casey Dick, but if Marcus Monk is healthy, he should also worry us.

KY....i think we've seen enough of that offense already to know that they should be able to score on our D. the good news, their D is equall bad, expect a shootout in Lexington.

Vandy. Earl Bennett. but we should still be able to handle Vandy.

Food for thought on during a slow week. I expected a shootout last year as well given the fact that their offensive weapons were virtually identical to this year's team. This always has the potential to turn into one of those dreary, cold weather games that turns into a low scoring turnover fest.

I am not going to hype the UK defense, because I know better, but their D is much improved over last season as well. Watching the Louisville game, I was shocked that for the most part, UK's corners stayed with Louisville's receivers stride for stride. The deep ball is not nearly the threat it used to be against these guys (not that that matters with the offense we have seen from UT so far) but they are still a step slow in their front seven, and a little soft in the middle, but Wesley Woodyard is the Patrick Willis of the SEC this year.

SC...I don't care to return to the state of SC two times in a row from Neyland with a loss to them, which I think they just might do! :ermm:

all valid points. the KY game has always been one of those strange games for us. yeah, we've had a fair share of blow out wins, but you're right, every time i think one way, it goes the exact opposite. Late November in Lexington, it is likely to be pretty cold and the weather could affect the game.

i for one am looking forward to the KY/ARK game this weekend.....i'll be keeping an eye on KY all season long cause my take on that game will likely change as the season rolls along.

The meteorological mega minds tell me that La Nina in the pacific translates to unusally warm winter in the south.....

Wait on Kentucky, in the SEC injuries have a way of depleteing strong but thin contenders...

Arkansas should be interesting. McFadden and Jones are averaging almost 300 yds/rushing together so far.

i dread the rest of the schedule....especially if we come out of this bye week and look exactly the same as in the first 4 games

that is my biggest fear. It was obviously we didnt' learn or make any adjustments from the Cal game. If we look the same against UGA it will be a tough season for the mods here. Mike Hamilton's decision will get a lot easier though.

i'm sure we're working like heck though, using every bit of magic dust we can find, and improving every day. we are a very good football team.

I'd say Kentucky because all they're going to talk about is finally ending the winning streak

I agree, KY might give us a nasty beating this year. They are red hot. :ermm:
