Where is everyone staying

Four of us will be traveling down to Atlanta for the UT romp over NCST. Anyone have any input on a good place to stay? I'm looking at Double Tree by Hilton in Marietta. Any good info on where I should stay that is still open would be appreciated.

Whatever you do book quickly. I would recommend something near Mansell Rd in Alpharetta. Lots of nice hotels and a Marta LINE. If you prefer Doubletree there is one an exit down at Holcomb Bridge which is exit 7 off 400.

Ride Marta, it's smarta. Seriously tho, book somewhere down 400 where you can hop on the train

Thats a great hotel, I've been there. And its very close to the Marta station. The only way to travel.

I'm staying at Hilton airport. Away from traffic easy access to marta. Booked hotel months ago. Good luck finding one. Guys don't forget its labor day weekend plus clemson and auburn play saturday. Everything is going to be packed.

Like to walk to GA Dome. Made our reservations in March at Omni. My understanding Braves are home, NASCAR race, and War Eagle and Clemson fans arriving.

It's too late to book downtown unless you want to pay at least $400 per night

A bunch of guys I know from my frat days booked a room at the Marriott Marquis downtown---7 guys in 1 room for $200-$300/night. They plan on partying most of the night with little sleep anyway.

You should check out the downtown Westin. I've stayed there two or three times in the past. It's the tallest building in Georgia, and one of the tallest buildings in the East. The views are incredible, and there's a bar on the top floor called the "Sun Dial". The seats constantly rotate 360 degrees, so you get a view from every angle.

On local NC radio today, bowl disappointed in NC State ticket sales- said fans making excuses like Friday night game - too far to drive- etc. Said SEC fans never make excuses- just go to games...neat
