I only follow final records overall and SEC. I leave the RPI BS up to the politicians. Who cares about that Bull freakin crap? Bottom line...the final record was 18-15 regular, 19-15(10-6) T2nd...Better than Bruce's last year SEC wise.

You're one of the most ill informed basketball "fans" I've ever saw on a message board. Seriously, who cares about the RPI?

Man, you're really look less smart with every post you make. Even if you're just strictly trolling, you're doing an awful job of it because your posts are so far from factual.

Pearl's last team was 34th in the RPI on selection Sunday. That's why they weren't just in the field, they were fairly easily there. Multiple wins over top 50 RPI teams. That was also the last good year for the SEC in basketball.

That's funny; of course you were probably surprised when UK lost 3 times to UF.

I'm fairly certain UF will still be above average.
.

Yes, I was surprised UF beat us 3 times. I thought we'd at least get UF the 3rd time.

Guess I should clarify, I still think UF will be a good team. Maybe my opinion of "average" is different because I'm a UK fan. UF will still get the tourney and win two maybe three games. That's average to me as a UK fan. But of course there have been times when I would have cried for simply a tourney berth (the Clyde years).

Let me take you back to that game and the coaching! At the 9:28 mark with Florida leading 53-46, Florida called timeout and Tennessee went to 1-3-1. At the 3:40 mark, the score was 55-54. Michael Frazier stole the ball and hit a transition 3 at 3:34. Florida called timeout at 2:48 and Tennessee went back to man-to-man. Scottie Wilbekin made a 3 at 2:27 and the lead was back to 7. Florida scored 6 the rest of the way and Tennessee scored 4 with a final of 67-58.

Just scanning and saw the part that I quoted and since that's something I remember very well assumed you were a Vol fan. Beat us 3 times too. :)

And Fox did a worse job with a NBA player on his roster, so I'm not gonna automatically assume he's all of a sudden figured it out. He has a tendency to underachieve when expectations are higher for his squad.

About like another UGA coach we know huh?

If you're referring to Cuonzo's 1st year where they were tied for 2nd in the SEC...it's a conundrum. Definitely not his fault they gave Pearl a pass and rejected him.

Georgia was tied for 2nd in the SEC last year, not close to getting in the NCAA tournament. It happens.
