FWIW, if the question were asked of me, I'd say 10 wins OR an SEC championship to me would be successful. And I think a five year timeframe is more than reasonable on that.
Next year is going to be so unusual. Florida has to go to UT and is going to be without Tebow and the defense will be almost entirely new. But UT will likely have its own gaping holes, too.
I agree with the 10 or SEC Championship measuring stick, but I'd like to see it accomplished within a 3 year time frame unless there are extenuating circumstances. I'm not sure we will have Monte or any of the other assistants much past that and that will mean more changes. Obviously CLK can recruit coaches as well as players, but if we haven't had success by then we may be facing a tough road.
Next year would be an ideal time considering our schedule. We get Oregon, UF, and bama at home. We travel to UGA and LSU but that's as tough as it gets away from home. With that being said...the QB position will still likely be an issue.
