His biggest stars cannot stay out of the news for the wrong reasons. His leadership is in question. He is doubted by many more than you guys want to admit.

Is it his fault? I have bashed him plenty, but at this point I just want to know when he gets some of the blame?

He cannot control his highest profile stars. Is this just more "college kids being college kids" or is it a sign of bad things?

Da'rick is most certainly not Dooley's fault. Everyone knew he was a problem from the beginning. "Me first" players don't change.

I can believe that. I am just curious about how others feel. I tend to think negatively about Dooley and am just looking for a different perspective.

There is definitely a pattern of behavior dominated by our star players. And it ain't too good....

Dooley is on the Clock, when will people like you give him credit for the talent on the roster?

I mean, it's also on Dooley that we have CP, a physical freak with a chance to shine, to fill in.

Both sides are legit. There is gray area, no matter how hard people will push for extreme one side or another.

Dooley certainly deserves some of the blame for the off the field antics. If rumors are true then he let his star players get away with way too much last year. If the team does poorly this year every intelligent fan will put the responsibility for the poor outing squarely where it belongs, on Dooley.

I've held my feelings on you for awhile. stick to basketball. I'm not sure if you have a clue about that sport, but you have no clue about football.

Don't really care either way.

You mad?

don't make him do it, zjc!

I like that he has held his feelings about me, even though I don't know who he is, ever see him on the boards, or had a convo with him on these boards. Like I care.

If "everyone knew he was a problem from the beginning," and Dooley, knowing that, takes a chance on him anyway and it falls through, doesn't he deserve at least a share of the blame? DR didn't exactly have a spotless record in high school.

I believe that DD has done some good things for UT. But I don't think coaching is one of them..

But the point of my post was to gauge what others thoughts were about this current situation.

because your in the BB forum.

Your blogs on football suck. just today saying how you would play this team without DR on the team. I would beat that D on every play with Rivera. simple.

bobby bowden was the coach of the criminoles for years. Nobody brings up how bad his players acted. CDD can't control these kids around the clock. When they step on campus they are legally adults. They need to think about their futures and start acting like adults. CDD can't wipe their butts and burp them after they eat. He controls what goes on on the field. He, like other coaches, tries to help them off the field also. That's easier said then done. Don't blame CDD for a player acting like a moron. Don't let a bad apple spoil the whole bunch either.

It seems fairly certain that Dooley favors stars. Most coaches do, at all levels. They get more leeway. The question, did he get so much that he's lost the team? That we don't know.
