When will it be Dooley's fault?

because your in the BB forum.

Your blogs on football suck. just today saying how you would play this team without DR on the team. I would beat that D on every play with Rivera. simple.

I haven't blogged on football in a while.

Go ahead. Except while Rivera is solid, you can put an athletic linebacker on him, or you can bring in a safety and go 4-2-5.

And I didn't say that it would sure fire beat them. I said that's how defenses will play UT.

And if you think it's that simple, then you don't know much about football.

What if they.. like.. guard rivera

with who? in his plan they dropped the safeties. kept the corners in man. thats 4 on 2. I like the Odds with Rivers. the slot guy whoever it is, and a swing pass to neal.

If "everyone knew he was a problem from the beginning," and Dooley, knowing that, takes a chance on him anyway and it falls through, doesn't he deserve at least a share of the blame? DR didn't exactly have a spotless record in high school.

I don't blame the man for taking that gamble. I would have done it in his situation. Strapped for talent when he first got here(CDD), you pretty much take what you can get and Da'Rick is a talent you don't pass on. It's just too bad it backfired. So yes, he gets some blame but coaches have to gamble sometimes.

His hero Kiffy never ever had any trouble out of his players while he was here.

I don't blame him for taking him to begin with. But it seems that Da'Rick has been a problem for quite a while.

And that's where I have to plead ignorance. I have no idea how the coaches handled him. But one conclusion that can made is that if Da'Rick was a continued problem, he was given too much slack. That's one way to look at it.

Who knows? And it's also a drug test. Maybe Da'Rick got his **** together with the coaches/teammates, but failed a 3rd one.

His biggest stars cannot stay out of the news for the wrong reasons. His leadership is in question. He is doubted by many more than you guys want to admit.

Is it his fault? I have bashed him plenty, but at this point I just want to know when he gets some of the blame?

He cannot control his highest profile stars. Is this just more "college kids being college kids" or is it a sign of bad things?

You take chances on the T.O. types of players, because they're incredibly talented. Dooley did what was necessary to help Da'rick, and Da'rick wouldn't comply. Not DD's fault.

And that maybe the saddest part of this whole situation. He finally gets on level ground with coaches and teammates then screws up by smoking weed, allegedly. smh.

That's what you got from that?

You gotta be kidding me.

only the best Lb's can cover Rivera. we have no idea what is gonna be put in the slot, or how good it will be. maybe ZR has a McBee year. so you writing what ever you want to call that tread was BS. like I said stick to BB

Rivera is at best a nice player. He's not a game changer. I like Mycal though. He does a good job. But he's not a star TE.

We don't know who is going to be put in the slot is a problem.

I don't understand what ZR and McBee have in common other than they grew up in Tennessee, play in Tennessee, have bad facial hair, and are white.

Now, I kinda like it here. I'll stick with both.

Having no idea who we will put in the slot or how good they will be isn't exactly a reason for lots of optimism

It's the blogger badge man. It's like a bullseye on your back. :)

You know what? I forget I have that there. Probably is.

Which is quite silly.

I stopped blogging about football, but love doing with basketball. Can't wait to get it back up again.
