What's it going to take to beat Bama?

Lol, Ok big fella. You don’t need the SEC Office or bagmen when you hire a coach that was already considered one of the best college coaches in the business, before he was hired. If you want to know Bama’s secret to winning(which is obvious to most people) its this. Our first two classes were because of two reasons.

A. The state of Alabama was loaded in 07-08, with studs that were probably going to Alabama regardless of the coach and,

B. The Saban Affect, simply put, we pulled in many recruits those two years for that reason alone.

The recruiting classes after that should be obvious. Saban is a relentless recruiter, National Titles galore and winning, Plus Top flight facilities. Also the shear numbers of bodies Saban puts in the NFL is insane.

So those, not secret bagmen or conspiracy theories about the SEC offices being in B-ham, are why Alabama wins. Suggesting that other stuff makes you look petty and jealous.

Lol - outside of one national title, what exactly did Saban do pre-Bama? Certainly nothing approaching what he has done at Bama.

No one is saying Saban isn’t a part of it. Of course he is. But you’re out of your mind if you don’t think the Alabama network has anything to do with it being sustained this long. It also helps having a former boss leading the NCAA, and yes, the SEC front office right across the street from the Alabama Sports HOF in downtown Birmingham.

Point to a single piece of evidence - just one - that shows Saban could replicate this anywhere else? He may win another title and maybe some conference championships, but no way does he sustain it this long with these results without the network in place. There is absolutely nothing to suggest otherwise.

All I’m saying is is getting a top of the line coach and putting more resources towards achieving this goal won’t get it done for us or anybody else. Nope. Not while there is top cover in Birmingham and the NCAA. You are out of your flipping mind if you don’t think Bama gets away with more than other schools.

it will take the Tide re-hiring Dennis Franchione as head ball coach. And 4 years for all of the current talent to get out of the system.

I would bet it would only take one year of Saban being gone and 1 poor recruiting class and they will be ripe for upsets by anyone. 2-3 years of less than top 5 recruiting would be nice. I'm sick of seeing them #1 or #2 every year.

Answer: 40+ points.

Bama's last 3 losses were Clemson, Auburn, and LSU. Clemson scored 44, Aub scored 48, LSU scored 46. That is all of Bama's losses since Nov 25, 2017.

In our last three games against Bama we've given up 41 (48 final score included a defensive TD) and 35.

So we need to build an offence that will score 40+ per game. Anything less won't get it done because Bama scores 40+ on EVERYONE.
I've decided to close up shop the day after the election, I was just wondering what some of you will be doing and what booze will you partake in?
You can't develop a QB in 5 weeks?
Reality from Tennessee fanbase!

Agree. I don't think UT will beat Bama any time soon with under 30 points.
UT won’t beat Bama with 40 points, unless the D gets A LOT Better.
They run the walk ons out for the 4th every game, they could of scored another 21 if they left the good players in

A whole lot more talent. The talent gap is still wide even though we have some good players. And of course a really good quarterback which we haven't had in over a decade.
