What do you realistically expect Tennessee’s record to be through first 6 SEC games?

3-3 should probably be the benchmark. First two home games are very winnable. A&M is a toss-up. We should win at Vandy, and hope for a split at Mizzou and Arky.

We should find a way to scratch out 3 wins in that stretch. 2-4 would signal, to me, that this team may have peaked.

Like. Serious. Peaked. LOL

Like. Serious. Yeah.

If this team aspires to be more than a bubble team, they can't come out of this stretch with a below .500 record. They play some good teams in that stretch, but it's not exactly murderers row either. A 2-4 record would tell me that this team may still be an elite scorer, PG, or big man away from being able to sustain their early success for an entire season; so, yeah...pretty much the textbook definition of "peaked".

Now, move along and take your usual crap back to the FF or RF if you can't come in and discuss the topic intelligently. Your post added nothing, and literally said nothing. Make an argument. Take a stand. "Like. Serious. Peaked. LOL" says nothing.

I don’t think we’d be doomed at 2-4, but I agree that it would probably be a sign that this team is a 17 or 18 win fringe tourney team and not a 20 win favorable seed that many are now hoping for.

Yep

2-4 won't be the end of the world. It would just put us where most of us thought or even hoped we would be before the season began and that is a bubble team

Yeah, I wouldn't term it disastrous. Like you both said, and I intimated in my post, it would just signal that we aren't quite there yet, and that we aren't likely to make the bigger stride that our early season success seemed to suggest we might make.

Sticking with being happy with 3-3. A&M will give Williams some trouble. Tough game but at home

Yup...same here. And we are going to see a desperate A&M team, they’re 0-4 in league play, they lost Saturday and that’s one hell of a home they’ve dug.

A&M is a tough match up for us. In order to win, we will need scoring from guards. We need Bowden, Bone, Daniel, and Turner to be at the top of their game both offensively and defensively.

Our guards seem much better at home, here’s to hoping.
