Auburn is on the road. Even when not at home they are better than Kentucky and Missouri. Auburn at home is a whole different animal, ask UGA and Bama. I don’t understand why so many people think that game is winnable. Is there a minuscule chance? Sure. Nothing more though. If that line is under 20 you better take Auburn.

I never said we would win. I just don't like the way we match up against Mizzou, and KY is a good team, they just are. AU is a good team as well, I just don't think they are playing to their potential, but probably will against us. Everyone else does

Thought O line protected better, thought corners played well enough to win. Got better pressure on QB. JG didn't turn ball over made some good choices not to force anything. Never Quit! All the above where improvements. Some folks on here need to quit listening to Gary Danielson!

I never said you said we would win. You labeled Auburn as a possible win but not KY and MO. I believe Auburn is better than both, especially at home.

I believe the defense is in good hands. The offense though needs better coaching and I'm afraid that is not over there right now.

i personal think we are seeing major sign of improvement and we could be seeing are self in the top 15 in 2019 or 2020

Are there people that actually write/type like this? Hope it’s the alcohol.

My official thoughts on the Georgia loss are that we lost and it sucks. Loosing to the delusional, entitled and arrogant pups makes it hurt even worse. There are no moral victories.

My unofficial thoughts....these dark days are passing and that Georiga comes to Knoxville next year to face a much more developed Tennessee Team. They may not like it much

I think we showed some improvement, especially on offensive line which I was not expecting.

I hate our offense....HATE IT...Boring and way too predictable...Scoring now is as much a surprise as picking up a 1st down these days...Fulmer wanted someone who was going to play a prostyle offense which honestly nobody plays these days anymore and its failing miserably...Doesn't help our OC has the IQ of a potato chip either...Nice 3rd down call there champ...Defense showed some promise and fight...Felt bad for them as they did enough to keep us in the game but JG just can't get it done...Even when he has time he finds ways to screw it up...He is a tough kid but not sure he is the answer.

They fought, made mistakes, offense is a work in progress, defense isn't bad with limited talent, i can't stand Gary Danielson. The extra point when he was cheering was enough to confirm i don't like him for life.

Felt like I saw improvement! Im not gonna be to hard on staff until south carolina thru seasons end. How different do we look? How much better are we playing? Are we playing better against comparable talent? I will say i have the least confidence in the oc and oline coaches out of the whole staff

UGA will develop too, though....and what's scary is, Kirby Smart just had the #1 class in the nation for 2018...and will be probably top-3 for 2019. This isn't UGA's year to win the SEC or make the CPF. They are too young in too many positions, and the running attack isn't what it was last year after the loss of 2 NFL running backs. They also have some holes on defense. All the UGA fans I know have pointed to 2019 as being the year they could make a run like last season.

Wondering what UGA fans thought about it....I've seen plenty on here about what UT fans think

They aren't all that happy, to be honest. They feel that the offense wasn't up to par, and hasn't come together yet. They want more playing time for Justin Fields at QB. They don't like the way the defense hasn't generated all that good of a pass rush. They feel like UGA hasn't really played a complete game yet and are hoping that Jim Chaney opens up the playbook when they play LSU in a couple of weeks. Most feel like UGA is a 2-loss team this season, and I agree with them. Probably LSU or Auburn, and a loss to Alabama at the SECCG. Maybe all 3.

I thought your defense played a pretty good game. Pruitt used a lot of blitzes and got enough pressure to make it tough on our QB. Our OL is still relatively inexperienced and they struggled with some assignments, so I hope that improves over time. I thought our defense played okay, but they continue to miss assignments in pass coverage and the pass rush is nothing to write home about.

Overall, I didn't have any big UGA takeaways from the game, other than I hope our offense can start executing better in the first half because we're facing some really good defenses soon. I expected Tennessee to improve during the year and I think you have and will. South Carolina will be a big game for you guys. It'll be a tough game, playing on the road and following Alabama, but should be a confidence booster if you win that one. Sorry, but I just don't see you sneaking up on Auburn in their stadium this year, but I'll definitely watch the game to see if I'm wrong.

Thanks for the response. The outside perspective is refreshing.

For me, the number of wins isn't what is important this year. I just want to see improvement as we go along.

I can't help but have major Helton and Friend concerns. I didn't expect an SEC championship offense, but I did expect to see some hope and improvement. I've said many times before that overachieving coaches overachieve with what they have and underachieving coaches underachieve....2 guesses what category these two fall into. I'm just afraid that if Pruitt keeps his wagon hitched to these two, it will be his undoing. There are rumors about the relationship dynamic and power struggle there and I won't comment, but there are definitely some major issues there. I hope I see something to change my mind in the last half of the season, as it would be difficult for a first your HC to fire an OC in his first year, but I'm left scratching my head a lot watching this offense.
