96 rain game against Florida....I have fond memories of the "We like IKE" banner hung in the Florida section...terrible memory of the first game but oh well...

1985

It was a 38-20 win over Auburn. I was 4. I love being born into a Vol family.

That game is certainly high on my list of highlights in games attended.

1990 (I think) game against Bammer. We lost 9-6 with 5 FGs being all the scoring.

And that is on the list of lowlights. We lined up to kick the winning field goal late in the game, had it blocked and run back to about our own 20, then Bama kicks it through to win by 3. It was a boring game capped by an exciting and disgusting finish.

2001 Memphis game...mid-level of section N...good time had by all in my group.

I've been to games since then, but there's nothing like the first time you see Neyland Stadium in person.

1999. 17-16 over Memphis on Homecoming. One of the more ugly Vol wins I've ever seen. Only TD before the final seconds was an Eric Parker punt return for a TD. Down 16-10 in final minutes, Tee Martin long pass to (? can't remember ?) saves the drive, ends it with a 10ish yard TD pass on a slant route to (again can't remember) to win the game.

That long pass was to Bobby Graham, a much underrated possession receiver. Every good team needs one to go to in clutch situations. Tony brown was another in this mode. Who will it be this year?

2000 v Florida with Jabar "Bright Eyes" Gaffney begins a career out of getting touchdowns without actually catching the ball! b**tard!

I literally thought it was a joke!
