I grew up in Jackson, Cape was/is our rival (although they were 1-9 this year while we were 10-0). The Jackson/Cape game has the most instances of being the highest attended HS game in the state. Cape played home games at SEMO & many years, the game was on a Thursday night (if SEMO had a home game Saturday). Fans from all over would turn out for that game. Always standing room only. Jackson still has higher home attendance than SEMO - embarrassing. Mosquitos aren’t horrible in Jackson & Cape. Travel south to Sikeston or SW to Poplar Bluff (don’t ever go there!), they’ll carry you away. Rice farming should be illegal. I live in Dallas 70% of the time but travel a bit & have a place in Tulsa as well.

Slowly but surely, order is being restored in the SEC East, with UT beating the teams they should always beat (UK, SC, MO, Vandy) and now it's time to start taking it to the next level, and beating the two teams I despise more than any other in any sport ...
