What round will Josh Dobbs get drafted in, if at all?

He didn't. The offense the last 2 years was Josh Dobbs and Alvin Kamara/Jalen Hurd. The offensive line at Tennessee has been putrid. And the WR play has been subpar given the star rating most came in with.

If Dobbs wasn't the starting QB, Tennessee's offense would have struggled to score 10 point per game rather than the 30+ points per game they scored the last 2 years.

He won't get drafted. His accuracy downfield has always been an issue. An in the NFL his ability to scramble will be limited

Cleveland, LA, and San Francisco challenge that claim. But that all aside, the players opposite that blocking would also be better...starting, professional-level better.

I do indeed. The last time I listed 7 different sources who didn't have Josh among their top 10 draftable QBs, good ol' D4H, like clockwork, told me I "put too much stock in 'Kiper and McShay'. And now here he is putting all his eggs in the Muskogee Phoenix College Football Experts basket...........WHO?? lol

No they didn't, Shoop's defense clearly lost the game.

But as an awful offense on the other side was marching up and down the field racking up hundreds of yards and scoring 21 second-half points, our offense pretty much conceded on the way to 3 points....they didn't keep up with Vandys feckless offense so they certainly didn't help the cause.

Did you know the week of the USCjr game Dobbs had finals and was seen in the library studying till 2AM two or three nights?

Well I have seen you and others complain about losing to USCjr and how bad Dobbs played so don't act like you have only b*#ched about the Vandy game.

In my 35+ years of following college football, I have never seen the excuse after a loss (poor performance) being "he was up studying way too late".

Not an excuse as much a fact. I know you couch potato coaches think keeping a 4.0 in Aerospace & Biomedical Engineering plus being the QB is easy but in reality it isn't.

Again, one has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Try to stay focused. You're the one looking for reasons to b**ch and moan right now.

And Dobbs did play poorly vs SCar, he admitted as much, and his play was the biggest reason we lost that game by 3 points. The fact that he had a tough academic week and was fatigued only came out several weeks later. But Dobbs being the great kid of high character that he is, came back stronger than ever in the weeks immediately after the SCar loss.

I didn't single him out at all with regards to the Vandy game....but the fact is, the offense only scored 3 points in the second half after an outstanding first half.

Defense definitely cost us the game due to giving up 45 points to lowly Vandy. But it's also a fact that the offense didn't hold up their end of the bargain either, which is all I was pointing out. It was a team loss.

Never said it was, but using that as an excuse is poor. I don't see Dobbs using it, just those that think he was the greatest Vol to ever strap up the cleats.

His old QB coach is with my Bucs so I would love to see Dobbs in Tampa...especially with Glennon being an unrestricted FA

Since we're listing random internet scouts and their thoughts on Dobbs draft stock, here is at least one blog that has Dobbs ranked 2nd among all QBs in the 2017 Draft: RANKINGS – NFL DRAFT LINE

And this internet scouts track record isn't too bad. He thought Dak Prescott would be a solid starting QB in the league when most didn't at this point last year. 2016 NFL Draft and Top 100 Review – NFL DRAFT LINE

And here is another blog where he says he likes Dak Prescott more than others while also not being high on Goff going into the draft. Stacking the Board: Quarterback – NFL DRAFT LINE

Not a bad track record for the only guy to have Dobbs rated as a top 2 QB in the 2017 Draft.

It's very unlikely that he'll consistently have a clean pocket in the NFL. Much of the NFL is about handling chaos.
