He's that goof that you wouldn't take a top notch QB in this class?
Dooley did a good job in setting us up a good foundation with quality recruits. Now all that's left is that we needed to win, or have the promise of winning. Gruden gives us that.
I would say that it is not out of the realm that we could get:
1. Derrick Green
2. Derrick Henry
3. Marquez North
4. Carl Lawson
5. Jalen Ramsey
6. Levenberry
7. Frank Herron
Just for starters. I don't see why not. I could see Gruden doing a LOT of work in a month or two. He'll work fast, but he will get them.

It will a sad day in Volnation if Gruden turns out to be Mike Sherman. We may get the talent, but what of the results? I just want to win. Whoever can get the best athletes and teach them how to win is the perfect candidate.
The new coach should not be hamstrung from the beginning by having to keep the unqualified commitments left from the dooley selection process. We need all our spots for the best that new coach can get. Even dooley told certain commitments during his years to look elsewhere when he was able to move up in talent. We need a good smattering of 4* and some 5*. All 4 or 5 stars is a bit much to expect. Also, everybody who has already committed, we need to keep, regardless of whether they are 2*, 3*, sleepers or athletes. Also, we need to touch base with all of them as much as the NCAA will allow.
Everybody's gut feeling: Is Gruden really a done deal or a pipe dream?????
