We could have hung 60 on them but I cannot figure out for the life of me why we went into an offensive shell so early in the 3rd quarter. The game was far from over and we just packed it in on offense it seemed.

After Bear and Saban, we’ve become a sissy organization.

First, if anyone from Auburn is reading this message board, I want to apologize. You called DeBoer “Husky Harsin” and I probably insulted you. You were 100% correct.

Our AD is a b*tch. He can take his banning of songs for cussing, his modernized script A, his lies about a new basketball arena, his firing of Eli Gold, and his new LED rainbow lights and shove them up his liberal a$$.

-Tennessee very well may be the 6th or 7th toughest game on the schedule at the end of the year.

-Overwhelming atmosphere. Definitely got to us. The moment we kicked off and forgot to get the tee off the field it felt like we were somewhere we shouldn’t be. Fran and the coordinators looked unprepared for the moment.

-It felt like Tennessee could score whenever they wanted. Their offense was bigger and stronger than us. Defense will be fine but they aren’t ready to play cfb playoff teams.

-Tennessee pash rush generated 5 sacks and TO's. we couldn't generate any pressure. and i was a bit surprised to see the Vols offense still playing fast and snapping up by 2 scores in the 4th. instead the trailing team is using all the clock and calling timeouts to avoid delay of game calls. weird.

-Impossible to know what we actually have, that Tennessee defense was supposed to be elite we could have easily scored over 30, our tackling is still an issue, there are probably 10 or more top 25 teams we would have rather faced then Tennessee in Atlanta. We will know a little more in 4 weeks.

-8 win team? Maybe 5 at best.. guys need to take your franchise goggles off. There isn’t a good “coach” on the defensive side of the ball, including Fran. Great recruiters bad coaches.

-We walked out of the stadium 90 minutes ago and are still stuck in apocalyptic Tennessee Orange gridlock in Downtown ATL.

-Tennessee’s offense is probably better than we think. The Vols lost a lot from last year, but they’ve reloaded with a lot of talent. We need to improve tackling and our pass rush, but I’m not ready to push the panic button.

I understand the defensive players being gassed and going down. Still seems like too many. Doesn’t explain what’s been happening on extra points

I can assure this "cuse" fan that many Vol fans were screaming at the TV asking "why are we letting off the gas on both defense and offense half way through the 3rd quarter." However, if the Syracuse offensive coordinators had figured out sooner that we haven't been able to cover the slant for the last 5 years, they maybe could have made the game more interesting.

Not many who were complimentary of Tennessee. Interesting

We played about the most vanilla game I could have imagined. A downfield shot or two to keep them honest, but no need to empty both barrels

Honestly, and as much as I hate to say it-that game today was just kinda boring. Syracuse was just never really in it and the game was over before it started
