More personal attacks and pre-game excuses/ref blaming than I expected. Most of the fans I've come across in online comment sections are pretty level headed. This type if rhetoric makes me even more confident.

If he had bragged on his team as much as he trash talked their opponent and
fans, it might have been a decent post.

There is one thing that scares me about Syracuse, they are loaded at almost every position with Seniors and experience still matters.
albeit some of their seniors are 1st year transfers and that will help. I think I read somewhere that their offensive line is one man returning and 4 first year transfers.

Nico leaving in exchange for Aguilar is a downgrade IMHO as Aguilar is turnover prone and has struggled in camp throwing INTs.

-Avoid mistakes, and Cuse will have it a 4Q game. The thing is, very very hard to do that with first start QB and game number 1 on the road.

-I don't have that much faith in our defense, to be honest. I think we are going to have to score in the 30s to win, and maybe to even cover.

-Buncha hicks in Knoxville. I took an official visit there as they were recruiting me hard to play golf there. I’ve never heard the word “Yankee” so many times in my life. Cool school and campus sure, but they are kinda like WV people. Very very very strange.

-I'll sign up for 5 TOs! The deranged Vols fan might think those are 5 mistakes. But I'll feel pretty good about our defense if they force UT into 5 killer mistakes.

-If it's treated as a normal cross conference game, the visiting team's conference would supply the refs. See the screwjob in '98.

If we avoid more than a turnover or two, we win. If we get 3 or more turnovers, we win big. Run the ball a lot early. Avoid bubble screens early, they'll be looking for them.

We barely beat a Pitt team in 22 (our best team of the last quarter century) that ended up not being very good without Kenny Pickett.
What did the Pitt game in 2022 tell us? We are good enough to will ourselves to victory, but not good enough to cruise against a decent defense. We still have to outplay them to win. Pitt outplayed us but we still won.
I think Syracuse is better than 2022 Pitt, but so are we on defense.

Ooof. Bad game to have when chemistry isnt built yet. Our defensive line will be licking their chops against this O-Line. Might look like OU vs TN in 2024.

I’m calling BS on this as there’s no way a person in that job at West Point has the time in the middle of the day to post on another school’s sports forum. And if you are who you say you are, then get the hell off this forum and do your job - those young soldiers deserve better!
