Opinions seem grounded in reality with a sprinkling of homerism in there which is to be expected. I think the 10-17 point range is achievable by Ball State. Anything under 45 for UT will be sad.

I don't care if we don't drop 60-70 on Ball St. to their 0-10 pts means nothing. I just want good clean play and tighten up any weaknesses.
We should beat them easily. Yeah we lost a few years ago when we should've beat the lower quality team but that wasn't a well coached, discipline team.
Drop 60+ on one of the big boys while holding their offense back...now you have something to brag about

When I was a young man going to games with my dad, he wanted to stay until the end of all of the games no matter the score. He loved the games where we dominated in the first half so he could get a look at the newcomers in the second half. He passed in 2013 and I have continued to watch or attend every stinking game (I have missed 3 since Fulmer was fired as coach) until the end.

My hope is we play a clean enough first half both on offense and defense so it is decided by half time and we get to see not only Joe Milton but Tayven Jackson in the second half along with all of the newcomers.

The only P5 team they played last year was a 7-6 Penn State and they lost 44-13. For this game to be even remotely competitive, we need to regress a ton and they need to improve drastically. I suspect that will not be the case. If both teams play to their respective levels I think about a 35 point margin of victory is to be expected, particularly when it's week 1 and more of a tune up game for us.
