those kind of wheels are very rare at safety, especially in a guy that tackles so well.Berry's instincts are incredible. The guy gets his hands on more footballs than any college defender I've seen in a long time. Plays develop more quickly for Berry than they do for most players -- his reaction time is hard to describe, but it's rare.
He craves contact - one of the most physical DBs you'll find defending against the run.
And, obviously, he has stand-out speed and athleticism.
He has that innate ability to just know where to be, like Bates had, but with the added bonus of being a MUCH better pure athlete. His coverage skills are good (and will improve) but he already knows how to hit far beyond his size. The guy just brings it.
I watch the guy play and think of Bob Sanders of the Colts. In the off chance you don't know who that is ask somebody that does how big a difference maker that guy is for the Colt's defense.
