What is the worst ticket you have ever been pulled over for

I was driving my brothers company truck when I got pulled over for speeding. I was doing 54 in a 35. The tags were expired, the tags it did have weren't commercial tags, couldn't find his registration or his proof of insurance, got me for dark window tint and no seat belt as well.

I thought he was going to throw me under the jail. He threw basically all of it. Just had to prove I had insurance, which I didn't, just told the judge I did, he didn't ask for it. Lucked out.

Got a ticket in Washington, Iowa doing 83 in a 55 and a ticket in Paducah, Kentucky doing the same. Hate both places.

I think my demeanor got the ticket. But I think I was justified for it.

Five over is horse shat. That's been 5 years ago and I'm still pissed about it.

That was the deciding factor for me when it came to writing a warning or actual ticket. Then I would explain that they actually wrote the ticket and I hope they got their monies worth. FWIW I hated writing tickets but those were the good ole days. Don't think I could do it now. I wiould need plenty of ticket books.

Florida has two notorious speed traps towns. Even Triple A has them on record to warn people. They write tickets for 1 mph over the posted speed limit. Waldo and Lawtey are the two towns. I experienced them on my way to Gainesville one year. There are huge billboards at the city limits sponsored by AAA (I think)to warn people about the speed traps.Waldo Florida Speed Traps | The National Speed Trap Exchange

I'm usually very respectful because I know many of the cops here in town. But the more time I had to think about this jackwagon taking time out of his shift to pull me over for going five over, the angrier I got.

Once I realized I was getting the ticket, I figured I'd at least get my money's worth.

75 in a 55 on 27 going through soddy daisy. Hamilton co sheriffs deputy got me (still remember his name) but I seriously got him back by accident, or got the blame for it anyway. A few weeks later his contractor came in the office to order his roofing materials, and part of it was left off the order. He was left with a partially open roof for a couple days. Nothing major, just a little aggravation.

Up until I moved to Utah, I've always driven fast. No reason to hurry, just liked the speed. There's quite a few crazy drivers here running the north/south corridor that is I-15. Outdoor life is large, so there are many people out walking, bicycling, skateboarding, running, etc. on the surface streets. Much easier to just poke along at or just below the speed limits.

Memorable tickets-Passed a cop at 100 mph at West Hills exit in Knoxville.

Rolling through Oklahoma at 90 mph in a 65 zone.

Driving in Wyoming in the middle of nowhere with 100 miles visibility in any direction.
Trooper came out of nowhere. 110 mph in an 80 mph zone.

Warning for reckless endangerment on El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in California. 150 mph and I was slowing down. Got a little squirrelly.

Winner. Hero.
