Like I said . . . Are you really going to label Tuberville a genius for being able to lure a guy away from Troy?

if he can come up with any possible way to make Fulmer look bad, yes he will.

Never said a genius. Never typed that out. It's just funny Fulmer doesn't have the connections to get this job filled quicker than what it has taken. I could be wrong but I think Kippy was 1st in line with Spence being 2nd. Both are out, as is Fulmer's list. It took Archie Manning to get Cignetti his interview.

No, I wouldn't call that genius. Just common sense.

And don't make it sound like a phone call to Troy is an aesier than a phone call to Statesboro, Ga or even Eugene, Or for that matter.

you don't have a single shred of evidence that could say Fulmer's list is out.

Name someone who is still on it then.

i don't have Phil's list. The point is you don't either. Go back to reading Hubb's articles thinking you have all the answers. We have no idea who is still on the list and who could possibly be getting hired.

A phone call to Troy is a heck of a lot easier than that. It's about 60 miles from the Auburn campus and everybody knew exactly who the OC was so it was a very easy and popular move for Tuberville to make. It's not like he held an exhaustive search.

If we had a shred of evidence that his list still had someone on it that was interested, then maybe I would believe he still had one.

If I had a shred of evidence that anybody that was reporting on this whole job search had any idea what was actually going on, I might be concerned.

I'm not saying that there might not be reason for concern, but only in college football could a job be open for 2 weeks and have people freaking out about it.

i guarantee you every coach has a list of possible replacements, just like every AD has. Fulmer has gone through his and according to his reports has evidently had others to interview. He had a couple of interviews that we know of. There's no telling how many he's actually had. we have no idea.

You people have no clue how everything spins around. Just because you get an interview does not make you the favorite for the job. it's just a step to see if they'll take it any further.
