Pretty amazing to think we have him for another season. The kid is just straight up cold-blooded right now on both ends of the floor. With his size and length, I definitely think he can make it in the NBA.
NBA scout mentioned him as similar to Jason Richardson fwiw
I had been using Deandre Liggins, but to be honest, that may now be an insult to Richardson.
Slow down!!! Some on here thought that Tyler Smith & Scotty Hopson would be NBA'ers too.
Let's see how his senior season plays out. Will his game improve or decline? Will he be healthy or injured? Will he get a suspension for an academic or disciplinary reason? How many other college players will improve in the next season?
Remember only 64 players get drafted each year to the NBA. Yet, there are 1300 players in college and many foreign players also........

MKG with less size and a better outside shot. It amazes me someone drafted him #2 overall. I saw MKG play in HS and was not blown away by any means. I attended the City of Palms tournament in Ft Myers my whole life and saw the best of the best HS players and most of the time you knew which ones they were. MKG was not one of those.
I have been saying this all season. He can be as good or better than McRae has been for us next season as soon as he is called on to be the leader of the team. He is a top level NCAA defender and has always been solid with that pull up mid range jumper which is key at the next level. No doubt this guy has a bright future ahead of him.
