What is Florida talking about?...

This is a bazaar article. UF's secondary was pathetic and clearly had to pass interfere. I don't really have a problem with the big talk about winning, but an article about how great their secondary played? Weird.

Elam is a joke and he know deep down in places he doesn't like to talk about that Hunter burns him 98% of the time.

Yeah he probably does considering Elam is a SS. I don't think any SS could cover him honestly. Most corners can't cover him so why would a safety be able to.

One thing not talked about is our #1 corner didn't play since he was hurt. Not saying it would have been a different game, but he certainly would've helped.

If our DBs were burned so badly, then they wouldn't have been in position to interfere. All the interference was done with the DB close to the WR, usually tugging on the jersey or arm around the waist while ball was in the air.

I mean sure if good position is pulling at their jersey while they run by you...

I know Elam is a SS however he should run off his mouth when he know Hunter would have been productive. I am in know way saying the outcome of game would have been different. Just saying that Hunter would have been productive and Elam knows it.

UF's DB's will get better. Pretty sure the 07-08 secondary proved that.

Do you feel like your Db's played well? Do you think you have the personnel to play us with a healthy JH? You did see he was open easily when he got hurt right? It was a great win for you guys though. Yet again.

The true telltale sign of how bad Florida's DB's are? They had to interfere with Zach freaking Rogers. Now THAT'S pathetic.

But, but, they had two guys hurt. LMAO at these guys. They may not get a first down against LSU. Really. Alabama either. Rainey will win the Heistman if Florida has a great season. I posted before the game that UF could not 'running back' us down the field. Wrong about that ****! Got to man up on that one. We did strip Demps bich azz two years in a row though. **** Florida. VFL,B!

When Rogers caught that one touchdown in the endzone 2 Florida players hit him and he was the only one standing Elam was on his ass!!

Who and who? Hunter getting hurt saved y'all the embarrassment of losing at home to UT. I hope we keep our team together for the trip down there in 2 years.

Just curious HG, how would you see the game playing out had the table been turned and it had been Rainey going down in the first offensive series and Hunter playing the entire game?

HG you are pretty level headed most of the year but your true idiocy shows when its Florida week. You know damn well the game would have been MUCH different with Hunter in the game. Would we have won? Maybe not, he doesnt play defense. Would your defense be able to bracket Rogers and blitz like crazy? No.

The biggest impact was the morale when Hunter went down, the life got ripped right out of the team.

So you can spew your Gator BS but you know deep down Hunter going out changed that ball game completely. Your pitiful DBs couldnt cover freshmen without holding them or hanging on their backs, no way they cover Hunter and Rogers one on one.

With completely healthy teams the only thing I know is the score would have been different, someone would have went into the 40s or 50s because we couldnt stop the RBs and you couldnt stop the pass.

I was about to ask the same question. My friends that are Florida fans and the trolls on here somehow seem to miss this fact. Rainey was Florida's offense. Without him it is a completely different game. (Thats with Hunter still getting hurt). Does Tennessee win? Maybe...Maybe not...

But to act like Hunter isn't a big factor in our offense and wouldn't have opened up things for Da'Rick is completely asinine. Florida's DBs were horrible in that game. Just think if they gave us the PI penalties at the spot how much yardage we would have had. Not to mention had our receivers caught those balls in stride...

Florida won the game and that is all that matters, but don't come on here acting like ya'll beat us when we were at full strength. I would give you both of your hurt DBs for Hunter. I would also give you both of your DBs for Rainey to be gone. I think them missing had impact on the game, but not as much as what we were missing.

Without a doubt, UT wins the game. Most likely by double digits.

Losing Rainey would have been huge but take a look back at the FAU/UAB games and will notice that Demps runs the same packages as Rainey...IF that screen pass was to Demps imo the outcome would have been the same...AJ isn't tackling Demps in space either. You guys are overlooking the fact(s) that UT lost this game because of ST,tackling, playcalling and upfront ...say what you like but no amount of Hunter,Bray or DR could have changed that. UF played soft zone and two deep to keep the passing in front of them and even when UF played a "pass D" UT couldn't run against them. jmo
