What In The Hell Happened

The closer you get to the end of the season, the more evidence of the strength and conditioning deficiencies shows itself. The coaching staff has made huge mistakes and these players have also failed to show up. Its just where we are as a program.

Bottom line is we are overall SOFT! That is the entire with this program.

I disagree and it’s just an excuse for the staff. Even terrible players can improve somewhat, this team has shown little to no overall sustained improvement. They are an absolute embarrassment. They are getting out coached and out played at every level. Pruitt needs to stop with the I am just a good ole boy football coach who really wants to win nonsense and start showing some improvement as a player developer and in game coach. As of right now, he is an average head coach who is probably in over his head.

That guy is not here anymore. The existing coaching staff looks just as bad.

Clearly you’re blind or refuse to look at the big picture.

Program was already in bad shape before Pruitt arrived.

The players aren’t SEC caliber and doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.

IMO, UK's ranking was based on the UF win. They aren't that good. Mizzou and Vandy both had them beat and let it slip through their hands.

Still, to your point, this team looks nothing like the team from 2 weeks ago.

Lazy take.

UK should have been up 21+ when the terrible call happened at the end. UK was the one that allowed Mizzou in the game.
Vandy game was pure trash from UK. We got up a score and made little effort to do anything offensively. But to act like Vandy let it slip away is silly.

This staff has been in place since last January and:
--Offensive line is just as bad as they were this time last year. Missed assignments, missed blocks, no effort
--Linebackers are just as bad as they were this time last year. Missed assignments, bad angles, poor tackling, lost in pass coverage.
--Safeties are still lost and non existent with the exception of a few targeting penalties
--Corners are all freshmen and are a little better than last year's group
--WRs still can't get off the line, can't get any separation, and still drop too many passes (#84; why does he get to play)
--There is still no pass rusher on the team
--QB play is just as erratic and inconsistent as it was last year.
--Team still gives very little effort and don't appear to be any stronger than they were last year.
That's because these players are who they are. Bill Belichick couldn't win with this team. Graduation and recruitment.

I agree that the program was in bad shape. But if you think Pruitt is going to turn it around I want some of what you are smoking. I have zero confidence this clown will do it.

He was a great coordinator, but a head coach he is not. Reminds me of Kevin Steele.

Guys, it takes a year to draw the poison out when a team has collapse like last year. Beating Auburn and KY is an improvement frankly, better than I expected from the poison that Lyle left behind
