What I will miss most about Jeremy Pruitt...

Nothing. We weren't just bad under Pruitt, we were bad boring! Even when we were winning, it was a chore to watch our team play. At least under Dooley and Jones, we had some fun offenses at times to watch. Pruitt teams were as milk toast as they came.

Fill in the blank.

Mine: Absolutely nothing. Never respected the fans, or the university. You could see it on his conceited face every single day. Dooley had redemptive qualities and so did Butch. Pruitt had none.

Pruitt’s eloquent pressers were simply amazing.

I'll miss his on side kicks. They always looked like they were going to work whether they did or not.

Funny how all these posters won't "miss" him but defended him daily on here after it was quite obvious he had no clue what he was doing

Only had 1 personal interaction with him...It was after the bowl game in Jacksonville. He was awesome with my boys and took time before getting on the bus with them. Actually stopped and talked with them. This showed me a little more character and personality than he ever showed in press conferences. Job was just too big for him, but that one interaction keeps me from hating on the guy.

Nothing. Pruitt is our worst coach to me. Some say Dooley, but at least Dooley was funny and didn't leave us with the specter of getting smashed by the NCAA. Cornbread apparently cheated balls out and yet went 3-7, an unbelievable goober.

Dooley was a better speaker, but he did alot of damage in 3 years. While he started the VFL program, Ramone Foster and some of the former players were saying yesterday that he didn't allow the VFL's from the NFL to come in and work out at will. They had to schedule a time before or after team workouts and to limit interaction with the current players. Disenfranchising the former players during his watch was a huge setback according to some of the former players.

I don't disagree. He probably is a decent guy. He was just ill prepared to be a head coach

I’ll miss somewhat freed up Saturdays. Right when you think you’re done with UT football, it pulls you back in...

Obviously, the players he coached may have a different take on this since it seems so many liked and respected him. Seeing VFL’s like Jennings come out in support of Pruitt means something. I just don’t think the fans ever really got to know him or see him in the same light that the guys in and around the locker room did.

I like that now the ceaseless Butch Jones threads will stop........although I just expect it to migrate into ceaseless Pruitt/cornbread/Fulmer threads.

Nothing I'll miss, but I'll sure NOT miss running the clock out late in 2nd quarter, instead of trying to get some points and momentum. I'll not miss him keeping an inferior QB on the field while better ones (needing experience) sat on the bench. I'll not miss the extremely illiterate grammar. What a loser!

You're probably about the only gator fan I have been able to agree with over the years. Cool poster IMO
I agree. Contributes to the conversation. I still catch his subtle trolling that he works in there. 😆 It's inscribed in his responses in a way that a casual reader may not catch. I'm watching you, @99gator.
