What happened to Boo?

I heard a couple of weeks back that Boo has been dealing with turf toe. I am not sure if this is true as Heupel never discusses injuries but it would sure explain a lot of Boo issues as of late.
I’m curious if Heupel will touch on that @$$ being sore, from getting spanked last night?

Shame to say, but Boo has allowed his family and personal matters waste his extreme talent. He has looked lost and mentally checked out all year. I don't get it. The team gave him ab extra chance, but I suppose he just let himself go athletically this summer. Went from All-Tennessee in HS to a prime candidate for the transfer portal. I actually wish well for the kid. New scenery far away from his family may help him restart. But at the same time he has given up an opportunity to start in the SEC on a top 25 team.

I agree it was the best pass defense game this year. IMO Mateer is a mid QB at best. Maybe his thumb is worse than what’s being told. He’s their only real threat on offense besides the 1 WR they have. Runs defense was solid minus that one play in the 4th quarter except when trying to contain the QB, he was the only threat.
Not gonna miss the drama from Carter honestly
🤣🤣🤣🤣

Didnt see him last night except in returner role. What is the inside line.
He skipped out on almost a month of team workouts this offseason and messes up his assignments on a consistent basis. Coaches and teammates have given him more than enough chances to earn back their respect. I can't wait for him to hit the portal

Coaches never should have let him return. Hopefully they learn from that mistake. We can talk about his upbringing and family and lack of facing adversity, but our coaches did the exact same thing. He goes and pouts and skips out on the team for a month and our coaches have zero consequences for him. They just let him back on the team and probably gave him a nice pay raise.

Well I mean, that parts not true. There were a lot of consequences. He lost his starting position and he had to make up all of the workouts he missed before he could even practice. The player committee approved his return also. Don't try to turn this into a "this is on the coaches" moment. Boo is surrounded by bad influences and isn't as committed to football as he should be. Thats on him, not the coaches. Heupel offered a teaching moment and a chance for a young player to earn respect back from his teammates. Unfortunately, the kid is just not as committed to football and is squandering an opportunity.

I did not see him play on defense since he got beat long against UK and did not try to run the receiver down giving up an easy TD. It's a trust in my opinion. Those teams who want him should take note.
