I think everyone who is a true vols fan should show the man the respect he deserves. It takes a lot of guts to do what he did today and sit up there and do a final press conf, anyone who don't think this man loves this team and school in general just needs to watch that press conf, he almost broke down several times. I have nothing but respect for him and I thank him for his dedication and loyalty to this university.
I hope he stays with the volunteers in some capacity until he retires. His record and accomplishments speak for themselves, there are only two other active coaches in the nation with winning resumes better than his. I just hope we don't find 3-5 years from now that he was not the problem, it will kind of be like sending a innocent man to the gas chamber. The man and his family gave a big part of their lives to this University so lets stop with the cheap shots and jokes, he has showed nothing but class and we should show him the same.
