he might coach again at a smaller school... you never know.. but he'll get all that money before taking another job.

becomes a legend. retires. chills in east tennessee. smokes cigars. learns to fiddle. and comes to a couple of games a year and signs autographs. the man loves tennessee football, and unfortunately we will not find a coach who loves tennessee football as much as this man does. maybe a better coach...but not someone who loves this university and the tradition as fulmer does.

and any coach who we hire who doesnt bring this guy in before big games to speak about the tradition of the game is an absolute moron.

Yeah, I've had people ask me where he'll coach next. I don't think there's any way he coaches at another school.

If he doesn't retain some type of job with the university (as some have speculated), I say he retires completely.

give me a break. the guy has just ended a 16 year tenure at a school that he loves and gave his all for. i agree a change was needed, but the jokes are getting old.
