Going to store for shrimp, taters, corn, sawsage, and zatarans for an afternoon boil and sop it up with cornbread.
And special secrets? I'm a novice.

No secret, but my opinion.

Use andouille sausage

2-3 Bay Leaves

Use whole peppercorns instead of ground or cracked

Depending on how much stock you have, 1 or 2 bottles/cans of beer

I've put raw peanuts in before also.

Have fun, boils are always a good time.
 
Some leftovers that I found in the attic. Think there is still an adventure book inside.
