Pumpkin Chili

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, cored, seeded and chopped
2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 pound ground white or dark meat turkey
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, with their liquid
2 cups pumpkin purée
1 cup butternut squash puree
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat oil in large pot and cook onion, green pepper, garlic, and jalapeños until soft. Add turkey and cook until brown. Add 1/2 cup water, butternut squash puree, tomatoes, pumpkin, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, and bring to boil. Let simmer with cover on until you can’t take it anymore and you stick your face in the pot and eat it all. Yum yum yum, I wanna make love in this club. It’s rull, rull good, y’all.

Grilled here at home last night. Marinated ribeye, salad, baked potato, and a nice ciabata cheese bread. Followed by my favorite dessert, beer.

Have not eaten there hoh. I have been to Jack Bakers Lobster Shanty down there, and it was quite worth the trip. Depends on your love of seafood, however. Although, they have steaks and such as well which are great according to my friend who ordered the prime rib.
