Hey I had a Cuban sammich Friday at lunch. Ham and pork roast with mustard and pickles on Cuban bread.

That's a Cuban, but you (or whoever made it for you) forgot the swiss cheese. I added sliced homegrown maters to mine to make it juicier. :good!:

Sorry, it had swiss cheese and the guy I work with doesn't like tomatoes and they had some diced tomatoes on his chimichanga so I put them on my sammich. It was quite tasty. It was a Mexican restaurant but they had a separate Cuban menu. It is a new thing there.

Been absent for a spell... the world has gone crazy! But you don't wanna hear about that....

food is the topic at hand.

Tonight it was Crab Cakes on Mixed Greens with Peanut Vinaigrette. Tasty... yes!

Inspired by a weekend "family" getaway to Cape May, NJ, just a zip from the Chesapeake Bay where crabs rule.

Sammich time. Local tomatoe, Wala Wala Sweet onions. I can't believe how much I'm likin' these things. Too bad I can't get any vidalia onion now. These out here are very good, but no comparison to vidalias.
