Just got back from a wedding. The food was incredible. The grooms parents owned the reception hall and are apparently loaded, so everything was top notch. Hors-d'oeuvres were colossal shrimp, King crab legs, lobster ravioli, tortellini, leg of lamb, clams, fried shrimp, calamari, mini tacos, bruschetta, all kinds of different cheeses and deli meats and an open bar. Dinner was good- just not as good as the hors-d'oeuvres. Dinner was chicken francese, filet mignon, prime rib (unfortunately the meats were pretty dried out though) roasted potatoes, string beans, pasta primavera, and tilapia. Desserts they had assorted flavored cake pops (they were so good) , chocolate covered brownie balls, hershey ice cream sandwiches , homemade chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, homemade ice cream, chocolate eclairs, cream puffs, a fondue bar, mini apple empanadas, rice crispy treats, root beer floats, and of course the wedding cake- which had 5 different tiers all with different flavors. Then about an hour after dessert they started serving cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks with curly fries for everyone who was drunk to help sober them up before going home and they gave everyone one to go too. They started serving food around 5pm and every hour they would bring out something new and said they would continue to do so until everyone was gone. (There was no set end time to the wedding bc the parents owned the place so they said it would stay open until everyone decided to leave). I left around midnight and they were still serving food and there were still a ton of people there so I have no clue what else they served.

That is an insane spread for a wedding! Open bar! This would turn any conservative crowd into a frat house! Somebody put a live webcam up in this place! What happens after midnight here?!
