What did you have for dinner?

Do you have a recipe? This sounds great.

By the way, going to Cheesecake Factory tonight. I really don't like the joint, but I have little choice in the matter. None of the dishes I've had before has been very good. (It's hard to be good at 100+ dishes that range from Italian to Thai to Cajun.)? Any recommendations, anybody?

There is a steak and chicken combo that is awesome.

I loosely have one with no measurements. Sorry. If you Google around, you can find some good recipes. If the recipes you find don't include a roux, then avoid them.

Nuggets aren't made as the myth goes. People should really look into it before they just believe everything. They're just chicken. Believe it or not.

Of course a Tyson video will claim they are wholesome. The truth is somewhere between pink slime and health food.

I need a cornbread recipe
tried one tonight, and didn't like it

There are so many variations on cornbread recipes. If you really liked a particular tasting cornbread while growing up, I would ask them for recipe. Mine is basically 2 cups self rising yellow cornmeal, 1 large egg, 1-1/2 or so of milk. Could be buttermilk depending on the taste you want. And, about a 1/4 cup of vegetable oil. Coat the inside of a cast iron skillet with lard. Put the oven on 400 degrees and let the skillet heat up. Mix the ingredients together and pour into the skillet. Cook about 18-20 minutes. Start checking it around the 16-17 minute mark to see how the crust is forming. When you take it out of the oven, let it cool for about 10-15 minutes. If you don't cool it, the bottom crust will stick to the skillet and the cornbread will fall apart.

that could be it, the mix I had had a 1.5 cups of water vs milk

I'll go with milk next time

thanks

yet you believe some whack job story about pink slime.

No, I simply used it as an example of an extreme opinion floated by conspiracy theorists. On the other hand, Tyson would have you believe their chicken is practically a health food (100% white meat, won't mention any steroids or antibiotics, etc.) The truth, as always, is somewhere in the middle. In this case it's probably closer to the official story, but only fools believe anything with 100% certainty.

For the record, I eat fast food as much as the next guy.
