It's an absolute must. The basics..You're table will have a hole in the middle to discard all your trash/scraps. Your seafood platter with everything on it for the table comes on a huge pizza pan type thing and everything is great.

This was at a little place in downtown Savannah. I think it was called J. Phillips.... ? That was brunch... Sitting down here on river Street currently taking a break before riding the riverboat.


Maple French toast and sausage.

I ate at J Phillips long long ago. Off the charts to say the least. Mine was also brunch. Could have very well been that plate. River Street is great. My last trip there though I was sad to see The Fish House had closed.

I ate here earlier today with the family after going to the beach at Tybee Island.

They had anything from Seafood,BBQ to Fried Chicken. If the chicken tenders I had were anything to go by,the fried chicken had to be excellent. The fried chicken took 35 minutes to cook because they make everything fresh.

was regular at north myrtle in late 60s and early 70s
last time in area was about 81, and I need to get back there again
when we moved south from NC, we began vacationing along the gulf coast.

we're 10 days from driving to fort morgan.
by that time i'm hoping to stop coughing and enjoy feasting again

We never did Myrtle much when I was growing up. Usually went to Daytona. So this is only my 2nd trip here since I was really small. We always have fun now that I'm the one bringing a kiddo down here.

I love Savannah. Been there a couple of times. So much history, art and architecture. And the live oaks. Beautiful. So right now I'm a little jealous.
