It was at Five Oaks Farm Kitchen in Sevierville, enjoying our off day from supporting the baseVols. We innocently ordered a cinnamon bun and received this monstrosity.

It tasted as good as it looks

I had a Great grilled cheese sandwich for dinner with American and mozzarella cheese, Honey BBQ chips and bread and butter pickles and sweet tea.

Turns out the grouper bites appetizer plus a Caesar salad would have been more than plenty.

Instead, I shared the bites (which were way more than bites, and at least a dozen of them) with my husband and had a sautéed flounder main course, and now I feel like a beached whale. But a very happy beached whale.

Breakfast this morning, and this was awesome. It's a huge biscuit, like 3 times normal size, covered in scrambled eggs and cheese, and filled with gravy, sausage, and potatoes. Idk exactly what the mana from heaven in the Bible was, but this has got to be close

Question for the Forum: We are planning a vacation to the Gulf Shores area this summer. We've never been there before, as we've been on a National Parks kick lately and usually go to the beach south of Clearwater. Any recommendations on restaurants and any of the beaten path food spots in the Gulf Shores area?
