Due to travel/ work schedules, we’re having Christmas on Friday, aka Orange Bowl Day.

So we had a peaceful low-key day, with an oven-baked rack of BBQ ribs and a pan of loaded cauliflower, aka the Widowmaker.

View attachment 526534Made a double chocolate mousse cake for Christmas. Has a base of dark chocolate cake, then a layer of chocolate mousse, a layer of white chocolate mousse, topped with a chocolate ganache.

Wow....four layers of happiness and what a Beautiful cake, it should be in a magazine....

Just had spiral cut brown sugar glazed ham, turkey breast, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, macaroni salad, deviled egg, and a roll of course. A fantastic Christmas meal. Merry Christmas guys.

We just did finger foods. Meatballs, pigs n a blanket, sausage balls, baked brie wheel.
