I’m in Dallas for a wedding.
Had Mexican Lasagna and Grilled Chicken for dinner.
Plus more wine tonight than I’ve had in the last three months combined

Mom gave me a bag of dried mixed beans...pinto and navy. Not gonna let that go to waste. Fast soaked them w baking soda to counter the gaseous effect. Added can of rinsed black beans. I like using potato flakes as a thickening agent for soups, stews. Don't care much for the taste of a cornstarch slurry. Kinda f'd up the cornbread. Forgot to add baking powder until after it'd been in oven for 4 minutes. 7 tsps...significant. Tastes good just not as pretty.
