Did your mom formally study French cooking? She creates some amazing meals.

Did you make Macaroons?

I didn’t make it, my mom made em at her home.
One was filled with apricot and one with chocolate. She said that they only have 3 ingredients, easy to make, the most important part is the measurements of each ingredient.

Went to a great local restaurant where everything is fresh and just good Ole' cookin and
ate with some good friends of mine. We all had their hamburger steak, French fries and
slaw and of course with some good old Heinz 57 on the table, I have not had that
in years and it was still just as good and you cannot beat a "Good dinner with Good Friends"

I just called and asked her. She said she did take some classes at a French cooking school in Paris. But she said most of what she has learned through the years comes from her research and her passion for cooking.
