What did you have for dinner II?

Not dinner, but late breakfast/early lunch = brunch? Good gooy omelette.

Flew into Atlanta today, and though I was not hungry, when I saw there was a Varsity in the airport I got a hot dog and onion rings.

For dinner had pulled pork, baked beans, slaw, mac and cheese with cherry pie and chocolate cream pie for desssert.

Good first day of eating in the South.

The Varsity! Boom! Dinner sounds good also, enjoy your time. If you have time, fix the traffic down there!

Bison is my go to meat, when I make chili.

I need to make it myself once. We buy it occasionally here at Ingles. You can get a 1lb pack for like $12, I’ve just been too cheap to get my usual 3lbs I use for chili. I’ll catch it on sale, and sometimes get it for spaghetti.

Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Pineapple upside down cake for dessert!

Many years ago in Milan I had the best meal my taste buds ever sensed. Spaghetti Bologneses, it was so good I ate the same meal 4 times in two days. Tried to memorize all the ingredients so I could make it when I got home. Nope... could not come close.

So today... I found an old school recipe that the reviews suggested was the real deal Italian version. Followed it to a tee... and it is now simmering. It tastes great so far... 1 more hour to go.

As an example... carrots, celery, onion, milk, wine, nutmeg, plum tomatoes, salt, pepper, 85-15% hamburger meat, olive oil, butter... followed the sequence of additions as directed. Should be good... I'll report back.

My wife's family is Italian...and when she makes gravy the whole house smells incredible.

Your recipe can't be bad with those ingredients! With that:
